The right have been banging on about a left wing conspiracy in the BBC for years, but all through the New Labour years I always thought the BBC were pretty balanced in their coverage.

It's only in the last 2 or 3 years that the BBC have clearly become a Conservative mouthpiece.

And I'm not sure if it's because the tories used the Saville thing and that other huge fuss about their reporting decision, to absolutely terrify them into submission.

But either way, nice to see some numbers that confirm my gut feeling.
