GOD DAMMIT now I have a bear and the maiden fair earworm.

oh, but the Hold Steady version is horrid. Way too fast with the lyrics. And that article says you "can't hear a book" but I do :-p And I have a definate idea of how that one goes.

(I really like the show's version of Reigns of Castamere though)

Dear god. That RAR article doubles pretty effectively as why you should avoid Windows. What a horrible design :/

It's basically the same as a Resource Fork in OS X:

As far as I’m aware, resource forks are seen as a legacy issue on OS X, and are now little used. But a more generalised implementation of the concept is extended file attributes, which are present on most modern filesystems (xattr).

I think the rar complaint is backwards. We should appreciate that rar has options to archive files without losing metadata, and condemn other tools for failing to support NTFS features that have been around for an age.
