Hopefully a government internet snoop will detect this admission and come and lock me up soon for the safety of the state.

Oh god. I've got a beard too!

I thinking a kickstarter for the rape testing kits might be a useful cross over.

See, part of me thinks "That would be great! People could club together and make things better!"

And then part of me thinks that this is what tax is _for_, and that getting good-hearted people to pay for work our police-forces should be doing as standard doesn't fix things in the long-term.

The outcome of a kickstarter would be hard to guess, but kickstarters might work as a clue to governments about what people really want, and what's worth supporting as a way to get elected.

First:
From the war on terror list: "If I'd known the watch was connected with terrorism I'd have thrown it away." That proofs you've got something to hide, you must be a terrorist!

Second:
So you basically have to be crazy to be a climate change denier. Who'd have thought that? Call me positively shocked!

I wonder what happens to the chances of finding a soulmate if you can have one from a pool of ten.

My intuition says that it would take 1/10th as long. But someone with better mathematical understanding than me will probably point out that that's completely wrong.

Well that’s where my head is too. With ten times as many opportunites it feels like it ought to take 1/10th of the time but I guess it could be some kind of logarithmic thing

No, I think this is one of those situations where the maths actually does work out the way you'd intuitively expect it to.
