Interesting, the power of bad web design. When I click to an article of yours, and find it's been published by Science Daily, I immediately close it again without reading, no matter how interested I was in the content, because it has such a hostile reading layout.

Me too!

It's mostly because there is a big block of stuff at the start of the body text, left-aligned. Hence your eye doesn't know where to go at that point, and you just give up. Or at least I do. Kill it and it doesn't become a NICE web page (still tons of crap on the right) but it becomes readable.

It certainly is - a thin windy string of text that threads itself through a mass of stuff that I never look at. It's hideous.

Recommend me a better site!

Should I be as annoyed as I am that the cryonics vs plastination article calls the problem a Drake equation? Fermi is rolling in his grave, I tell you!
