I spent a fair amount of time poking around the Per Square Mile blog -- even set up a syndication for it: http://per-square-mile.livejournal.com/

I liked the post seeing how much space 7 billion people would fill using the densities of various cities. That post also compares how much of the world 7 billion people would use if we all lived as certain countries. The US was more than 4 planets, the UAE more than 5.

I just have to love the headline "The death panels gave me $85." Hah.

And I find it very interesting that more affluent neighborhoods have more plants. It's something I've suspected for a long time.

Forget that, I want a pillow fort *now*. I built them all the time when I was growing up. One of the best stayed up in the living room for two weeks and I slept in it.
