Yeah, we're seeing it already, education is increasingly worthless. The only thing that will make a difference is if we start manufacturing large quantities of goods in the UK again, but for that to work, people will have to accept lower than minimum wage.

Of course I'm fairly certain that energy prices will spike a global crash before long, and value is going to reside in the food people can grow in their gardens and suchlike.

Said spike in energy and food prices would create a lot of demand for labour if that labour could improve the amount of commodity produced and the efficiency with which it is used.
