Fuck. I saw the Peter Dinklage thing on a gay message board I'm moderating this week, posted it and then realized you had it here before I did.

Did not mean to steal!

I didn't make it, and you didn't see it on my journal first. Totally not worth worrying about.

Exactly. And a hat-tip is nice, and it makes me happy, but it's not vital.

Funny - I was walking past the Caltongate site yesterday and was thinking what a waste is was to have the site sitting empty.

I think I'm pleased that some one is planning to do something with it. I'll be interested to see what the plans are.

It is a complete waste.

And so is the bit next to Chambers Street, where the first was nearly a decade ago. It's ridiculous that they're both sitting as wasteland after all this time.

At least there are finally some buildings going up in the space vacated by the Cowgate fire, I guess? Only took... what, 8 years for them to get started with that?

Linked alongside the census data article, and totally unrelated, I found this great gallery:
"Pencil Vs Camera" blends drawing and photography | CBS News -- ["Pencil Vs Camera" is an imaginative and fun series by Belgian visual artist Ben Heine that began in 2010. Blending photography and drawings, Heine brings together real photographs with fantastical sketches into a fascinating mixed medium where the artist's hand is always present in the images to represent the connection between viewer, artist and artwork.]
