A surprisingly large number

Nov 11, 2011 18:25

I just counted how many games I have on the Steam game delivery system and was rather surprised by the number.

But then I have picked up a lot of games cheap (i.e. for £1.50 or so) when they were on sale (things like Peggle, or Osmos). Plus stuff in the Humble Bundle. And picking up the Half Life complete set adds a few items.

What's your most hours played on a single Steam game?

Mine is 1,539 hours (Football Manager 2010).

Nowhere near that - 65 hours on Defense Grid.

If they'd had Steam back when I was playing Quake 2 all the time...

83 hours for TF2, 72 for Fallout: New Vegas. I probably played Civ for longer than this Back In The Day, but that was before Steam.

I'm surprised it's not more, but I have quite a few games in the 15-30 hour range and I guess it all adds up :-)

I also find my number slightly scary: 67. But then, 20 of those are the three 5-part Sam&Max series and the 5-part XCom series. It seems I've done a lot of buying bundles and groups of very cheap games.

Now, another interesting question would be how many of them I've played... it's probably over 50%, but not 75%. The triumph of hope over time...

Yeah, I spent nowhere near that. And the comparison is handy, I shall remember that, thanks!

26, of which 23 are playable. Majority bought as Humble Bundles that appear automagically on Steam. Irritatingly there are two I bought and can't play [including Bioshock]. The only stuff I've properly bought on Steam are the Orange Box and The Baconing.

I have bought a fuckton of stuff on the Mac App store, the majority of which I played maybe twice. There's loads I *want* to buy, but most of it is AAA. I'm aware that if I bought less crap I could justify those very easily.

That's scary - 205 according to Steam's count - though many of those were part of sales bundles. How many have I played to completion? I'm guessing around 20. How many played a bit of and - for one reason or another not continued with - ? I'm guessing about the same. That leaves a lot that are unplayed. Hmm.

Apparently I have 11 currently installed.

I also have loads of games that I haven't played, or have only played a tiny amount of.
