The lesson of that music story is "Don't fuck with Rob Zombie."

Which, really, should be obvious.

Also, I think we need to send Buck Angel to Sweden to beat some sense into the legislators.

Edinburgh would have a semi decent music festival if Murrayfield had remotely decent transport links.

Murrayfield is a size up (70,000 tickets) rather than the Arena sized venue (10-15,000 tickets) that is being proposed.

And Murrayfield is easier to get to by public transport than Hampden or Parkhead.

Ah, right, I had no idea what sort of sizes music venues are. I just knew that my mum had been to concerts at Murrayfield and Hampden and suchlike.

I saw U2 at Murrayfield. They sold out a very large chunk of it. Most bands would be lost though.

Radiohead played in Meadowbank a couple of years back, which is a much more suitable size.

But they also showed that the increase in risk was only 1.22-fold in physically active carriers, compared with 1.30-fold for carriers who were physically inactive - a 27% reduction.

This is from the article about exercise and the obesity gene. I can't make sense of the numbers. Is there a log in there someplace?

One set of people go from 1->1.22, one go from 1->1.30. That's a difference of 0.08, which is just over 25% of the 0.30 increase.
