Is it me, or is the internet really boring at times? I'll use the example of OTF, and I can recall times when there was pretty much always a few people in there, but now it's pretty much dead until the evenings. I often wondered how people could get bored on the internet, when there are so many websites out there to look at, and now I see why. ( Read more... )

I agree. Internet is boring. OTF used to be a place to pass some time, but now that's not really active enough to do that.

If you have firefox, I'd recommend you get the Stumble add-on. You tell it your interests when you register (and can edit at any time) and all you do then is click the stumble button on your tool-bar. It'll then take you to a random page, recommended by people with similar interests to you. It's how I find some really cool, fun sites to pass the time.

As for the Fray, I love that song. First heard it on Grey's Anatomy, then it was Scrubs, but got the album after it was on Grey's. It's a toss-up between 'How to save a life' and 'Cable Car [Over my head]' for my fave song on the album though.

Tis a beautiful song, realised within a few seconds I'd heard it loads before but had to listen anyway.

It is, yeah :D I love it. Had it on repeat for about an hour earlier :D

I only saw Pocoyo once, with Svenja, back in January when I was visiting her at college. It made us laugh :D

If you're bored, go out and do something? :( Get a hobby! :@ The internet and TV are just ways of wasting time instead of spending it. :(

Actually, I could do with running to Dunnes for shopping... :(

Scrubs is (I honestly honestly think this) one of the most clever shows on television today... the humour generally speaking is direct and guided to eventually make a point, the medicine is actually not all bogus and it's not exclusively applicable to a medical climate I reckon.

And the song is awesome. Also used in Gray's funnily enough. Just a pity they changed the video clip, it suddenly turned from being a subtle and beautiful portrayal of isolation in teen depression to 'Wow! Here's a depression fish, lets slap it about your face for a bit, and see if you understand what we're trying to say about suicide... no? Let's slap a bit harder then!'
