I've been talking to Svenja a bit recently about all of this, and we both seem to agree that society needs to toughen up to improve. What do we mean by that, well let me explain

Public flogging. :) Let's face it, the only language that bullies and criminals understand is their own - violence. I guarantee that they'll listen more after a beating than if you start with "Now, John, what you did was wrong. WRONG, you know?"
