Alas, poor England lost to Sri Lanka in the opening One-Dayer but their largest margin against the Sri Lankans. I'm not going to focus on this too much, but I felt I should mention it, even though the only reader of this blog who will remotely care is Jeremy ( Read more... )

I do think that it's a case of two steps forward and one step back at the moment. Still, I think we're heading the right direction, generally!

Looks like a cracking day and location in the avatar, man :D Don't know the high-peak too well, I must admit, but I know roughly where you would have been!

I think the fact that you moved to another country with very little people around you and managing to live on your own there is a feat at that. Also, how many people these days are willing move to another country to be with the one they love?

True, man. That's why I feel so accomplished, because I pretty much managed to do all this on my own, ya know? I had little help from my parents, and a lot of the hardwork and headache-inducing tasks, I did myself.

Ofcourse I had Svenja supporting me the whole way, which was very handy and I'm thankful for that. I don't think any man can truly make it by himself
