First off, can you apply for unemployment? It'll give you some breathing room.

And friends say shit to each other. Sometimes it's shit they need to hear. If she's any kind of friend, I think she'll understand and cut you some slack. (Or thank you later.)

I know the feeling about worrying about the future. Bleh. This economy shit sucks.

Yes, I can. The only reason I had not yet done so is that you can't file for unemployment on the same day as you are fired. So in 7 hours...which reminds me, I should sleep...
