Doom 3 Hates Me

I haven't played any computer games for quite a while, but seeing as I now have a very powerful machine sitting next to me I thought I'd try and stretch it. I downloaded the Doom3 linux demo, installed it and then ran it. And computer locked. Grrr says me, so I rebooted, tried again and it locked again

Cool, now you just need a copy of Half-Life 2 and you can start playing for [UoY]! Also recommened: Warhammer 40k Dawn of War, Rome Total War.
