Adetomiwa Edun is obviously a much finer actor than his role on 'Merlin' lets him regularly demonstrate.
I think he wanted to leave. He's getting good reviews in a play on in London at the moment and has a small (though might get bigger) role in "The Hour".
Something more than just sisterly kindness happened in that year, I'm sure.
Yes, I think so too now. I think we might finally be getting an oblique explanation of Morgana's character change through what's happened to Gwen. Over a year I suspect Morgause managed to "condition" her much more deeply than has been done to Gwen but I suspect that's what has happened.
She does a much better job of acting concerned and innocent than Morgana did, I think.
Yes, she really does. Merlin's going to have to work really hard to unmask her which should be fun.
I enjoyed this episode very much as well. It's nice to see old Emrys confounding the guards with riddles. I think Gwen is actually better at evil than Morgana! I have been wondering if Morgause did something similar to Morgana. And I've also wondered about why Morgana expected Gwen to know that she'd been locked up, maybe it's something her captor led her to believe?, but there is more than meets the eye, so I really hope that these things get solved in the upcoming episodes. We still haven't seen Aithusa, nor much of Mordred. and you are right about the vials being mucked up (Go Miss Marple!) Not only that, but the dress that was ripped is incorrect as well (or the clock, which has no border)
