I'm bored, having LJ withdrawal, and the Word file of my submission for Shousetsu Bang*Bang issue 20 has been corrupted --so I has not made submission deadline but petronia says I should submit it anyway ( Read more... )

Waaa have you read the Sookie Stackhouse novels? :) I am about to start book 6 :D I enjoyed them while on vacation :D

I think I'm becoming a Eric/Sookie from the books much more than I was in the show itself (in the show I'm a Godrick/Eric all the way kind of girl XD).

I have been holding myself back from exploring what True blood fanfic is out there until I finish the books but I have high hopes for some good epics -- have you read anything yet?

I did read them. Didn't like them. I kept going anyway, just absorbing the storyline and to see what the fuss was all about, but I don't like Sookie very much after the last book and I certainly don't like Bill (good riddance!)...and ended up loving Eric completely.

Give me an Eric IRL and I will MARRY HIM. Boss man, almost arrogant, totally pragmatic and very practical, plus never takes shit from a woman? MY TYPE.

Oh, yay! I am a HUGE Sookie / Eric fan!! If you have some time, please have a look at my Mems as I think I put in a few fics there. I did read a bunch of good ones on FF but they aren't really anything I would recommend since they stray so far off the current storyline --and most were written before book 9 came out:

Terri Botta has a HUGE 5-part series that starts with Let Love In which I think is pretty good (last one is WIP, though):

In the eric_sookie there's a WIP 'verse called Changes: ... )

Sorry to sound wishy-washy, these stories are some of the best I've read on FF. Just that... I'm not sure what I was looking for in reading Sookie/Eric but these aren't it...? I hope that makes some kind of sense.

And I think they're best read before book 9, though.

Happy reading!

Oh hell, what happened to the file? Virus or just a computer screw up?

You know, I was watching Generation Kill the other day and Alexander Skarsgard was in it. Mmmm, he was pretty in uniform. XP

Save your creativity up for November!

Dunno! It wouldn't open and Word says there was an error opening the file and that its been corrupted...!! I wanted to scream. It happened on the day of the deadline. I ignored my laptop for DAYS while I sulked.

I might want to see that. Hmm. I told my sister I thought Alexander Skarsgard was hot but then when I saw other pictures of him looking a little softer and younger... I didn't QUITE have the same opinion. I think I'm more an Eric Northman fan, really.

Yeah, gimme Big Boss Man who knows what he wants and what he's got plus confidence almost to the point of arrogance? TOTALLY MY TYPE. (Eric, I want to lick you. And hump your leg. Pretty please?)

Jesus that musta caned. I was looking at s2b2 and wondering why I didn't see your name there when I coulda sworn you said you were submitting something.

I think I justed liked the fact that he sang while shooting people. That kind of crazy both horrifies and amuses me. >>; *cough* I have issues yes I do.

I started watching True Blood the other night but got distracted half-way through episode 2. I'll finish it tonight!

If you're bored you can play games!
www.orisinal.com

This site has been around forever but every so often they make a new game. It's great for when I need something to occupy me for 20 minutes and I can't play wii.

"And lookit! I has not posted anything for an entire WEEK! There is clearly something wrong with me on top of all my other worries!!"

lol, that's what I thought when I came back from holidays and went to take a look at your journal ("dreading" to encounter pages of new posts). ^^

Am I really that productive? Hmmm... Maybe I can take more time off than I think.

Was actually thinking of structuring my writing like TV shows; seasons of complete arcs then long breaks in between while I write the next one. I did this for a while with The Seer but I think I'd like to do it again with all the other series. *ponders*
