Blurb help?

Apr 06, 2009 10:52

I'm hoping someone who has read Of Suits & Swords can help me:  I need a blurb or line or whatnot to go on the cover of the book.  It looks so... empty and bland without all the fancy schmancy text and logos on it and I really want to fill the space.

Anyone care to contribute?

I'd love to help but apparently my brain isn't on - it's kinda hard to find something that kind of summarize it but don't spoil anything... I'll settle to wish for inspiration to strike you with a brilliant summary.

Blurgh. I just need a sappy pseudo reader-enticement line like those mysterious questions everyone knows is really just cheesy...

*fail* No inspiration yet but thanks for the wish.

I read it some time ago, so I had to skim to find lines, but these stood out:

“I must not be doing a sufficient job at distracting you.”

“I hope I have not frightened you off. I do want to see you again.”

It was not enough… and yet too much.

Sometimes he would be lucky enough to find one who would touch him voluntarily.
But Gage wanted him.

“What you want may not always be what you need, may not be what will make you happy.”

“We’ve only just met and yet I would so love to… unwind you.”

Some seem more back of the book than cover of the book to me, but I did my best ^_^
