What I Should Have Said Was

I had every intention of putting the following up online on Saturday morning but I didn't want to write it in Lj and I could figure out how to select all, then copy and paste off my tablet (I'm sure it's possible, I just couldn't figure it out) so this is going up a few days after the fact.  It's not at all time sensitive, but for referencing sake ( Read more... )

I'm the same way with talking (but also that way with writing--.) It all comes out and I find out what I really mean as I'm saying/writing it, and after EVERY panel at EVERY convention there's the post-panel cud-chewing stage ( ... )

Well, the baby could also be intersex and thus not necessarily her or him, but that's a whole other load of cultural pressures and more frequently covered up by assigning either 'her' or 'him' to the baby for cultural reasons.

Hmmm.... I can't figure out what the problem is. Although I suspect it's likely a live journal glitch. I'll keep poking at it.

It's in Times (formatted) and not the normal LJ font -- would you like me to copy and DM it to you?

*must run & get the kid to school; will hopefully see email notification of any replies*

Huh. So I'm not the only one who talks in parentheses. One of my writing teachers once informed me, in the middle of class, that I "talk in punctuation"; my roommate at the time totally agreed, as have several people since then.

I didn't get to this panel so yay that you are posting about it!

(If it's an iPad, press and hold on a word till an option to "select" or "select all" pops up. Tap "select all." Then another option for cut/copy/paste should show up, and you can pick "copy." Then over to the LJ app or LJ on the web, and Paste.

If it's Android or Windows, you're on your own.)

Once you've chosen this as a biological characteristic, denial is no longer an option, particularly if we're talking a point of view character. Suck it up.

*laugh* But if you actually make it part of the plot, slightly, SO MANY people will comment, and make "ick" noises. (While others go, "Oh. huh.") #BeenThereDoneThat

May I post a link to this over at arisia?

1: There's a chance that the select/copy will still work similarly in Android, but I have no experience. Sorry!

2: Thank you!
