Although I know some of you have already snagged a copy (pouts a little because I don't have a copy yet) the official release date of THE WILD WAYS isn't until November 1st, next Tuesday, one week from today. And, since I'd already planned out this whole two week/one week teaser thing, y'all are just going to have to put up with another excerpt so ( Read more... )

Yep my appetite for the book has most definitely been whetted.

I'd been wondering about the house rebuilding. I hope the mired truck isn't representative of how it's been going.

In other news, I'm loving Nights of the Round Table. A story I hadn't read before! Stories I'd read so long ago I'd nearly forgotten them! A couple of my Very Favorite stories! And ::ahem:: inspiration to finally install a reader app on my iPod....

Hi Tanya, gotta agree with the other comment. If I wasn't gonna pick it up before, I'd DEFINATLY be picking it up now. I think the Gales are an awesome story family and I'm looking forward to seeing where you take them. Well done!

ARGH! Another example of how I'm the worst proof-reader ever. I'm working off my final revised copy here so I really hope someone caught that down the line.

I always make that mistake. I only hope that some day I'm assigned an editor who can tell those two apart.

That's okay, better to have a proofreader/editor for the nitty gritty, otherwise you might get hung up on grammar to the detriment of the overall story. And I think I can confidently say that we'd all prefer more story to better grammer. *grin*

Waaaah - you are an evil woman. I do not have room in my house for more hardbacks (though I applaud the fact you are a sufficiently well established author that your books come out in hardback first). Will have to be patient, but Do Not Want to be.

With four people collecting books in your house, you have my sympathy. We can't find room for the books two people buy!

Grin - yes, that's about right. At the moment A1's books all go into his room and he has space for new stuff and has things on his shelves that he'll probably happily pass on to his sister when space starts to become an issue. However he's also the person most likely to get a hardback book, just because his mother finds it hard to resist buying him the latest books in his favourite series' (*cough*, *shuffle*). On the plus side at the moment I think that only one of these is coming out in hardback first but it's only a matter of time.

When the children start to add their books to the main bookshelves in the house we'll really be in trouble.
