If you've got a moment...

Hi!  Me again, with yet another favor to ask.

The wonderful and very hard working person who did all the coding and the uploads of Night of the Round Table mentioned this morning that Kindle was a (insert expletive of choice) to upload to and there was, therefore, some concern that it hadn't uploaded cleanly.

If you've downloaded a Kindle edition ( Read more... )

Hi Tanya;

I downloaded the Night of the Round Table for my kindle from amazon.com. I did this last Saturday and I had no trouble either reading or with the download. I hope this helps.

No idea about the Kindle, but there were a couple of spots where we seemed to lose the second half of words on the Nook (One could easily figure out from context what the words were, but it made me wonder if there was actually more to those sentences/paragraphs There was usually a hyphen and then just nothing.) There were also two spots where a period was kind of randomly highlighted.

I don't remember exactly what they were, though, but I could check if you want. (Or you could just search for hyphens, I don't think it ever happened without one.)

First: Thank you so much! That's always wonderful, and a little humbling, to hear.

Second: Oh boogers! The really annoying thing is, these stories have gone through THREE sets of editing and proofing by now and that's still been missed. Oy.

ARGH! The quotes may be a formating problem but the rest is a result of the sad fact that I'm the world's worst proof reader. And apparently my proof reader isn't the world's best. Sigh.

I'm not sure I can get all these fixed but I promise to do better with the next collection. Cross my heart.
