Just a quick note to let you know that I'll be in Vancouver this coming weekend, October 2nd to 4th, at VCON 34. Is VCON a regular thing for you, or is this a rare and infrequent occurrence?

This is the first time I've been. Not going to swear it's the last but it's a loooooooooooong trip.

As soon as I heard you were going to be at VCON, I tried my best to get there, even though I've never been to a convention before, but the world of responsibilities has conspired against me and I can't get there until Sunday afternoon. Are you do any other stops in BC between Van and PG???

Stan Beeler mentioned you'd be attending our class at UNBC, which we are all very excited that you are coming! There was a bit of "Fangirling" when he announced it. So we are very excited, and you'll definetely be welcomed by us!

Not really. But its the Science Fiction class, we'll pretty much listen to anything. A few of us did study your Blood Series and Blood Ties last year for our Fantasty Literature Class (also known as Vampire Lit) so you are pretty much open.

Do expect a few of us to come baring books and pens for autographing purposes!

I'm also in Prince George and in Dr. Beeler's class at the university. I'm defnitely looking forward to your visit! I don't know what Stan wants you to talk about, but I would love to hear about your experience with the Blood books getting adapted into a TV show. Also, from what I hear, the reading at Books and Company on Third Ave is going ahead for 7pm Wednesday.
