Can I make you a book for Marie? Would you send me the links to all your posts for her?

Yes! Really? A lot of them are on the hard drive, but I've been meaning to upload them to lj so that they're in several places (if I ever lost them, I would sob and sob.).

Okay. You know things. I need you to zip high res versions of the photos and upload it for me on a fileshare site somewhere so I can download them. They should be titled in order like this: 29-mos-01.jpg, 29-mos-02.jpg, etc. Then I will need links to each entry you want included and you have to let me know about the comments and such.

I won't get to this for weeks but I want to do it :)

There are a ton of good books on this, but the documentary "Food, Inc" that just came out recently is a great place to start.

Yep, I saw it here in PDX. It's great, and hard to watch.

w00t for watermelon! i was so happy to realize that watermelon is sooo good for you. i try to get my great aunt to eat it (she has rheumatoid arthritis and fruit in general is anti inflammatory) because it's one of those fruits that everyone loves, but just assumes that you should eat sparingly... have you ever noticed how people think you shouldn't eat a lot of fruit? it's CRAZY.

The things that people usually choose to eat are so icky, I think that's why they think that eating a ton of something must be bad for you. Sometimes Mimi will eat an entire carton of strawberries at once, or a quarter of a watermelon. It's insane, but I never doubt her body is telling her what she needs.
