I miss Portland. I miss the way things were before. I almost miss the way things were long before... I should've been an engineer; it's easier not the think about things that actually matter. 3rd Planet makes me think of staring at the stars on the hood of Bill Thanhouser's car in the Gabriel Park parking lot.

Wow, Tooks. I haven't felt homesick once. Not one single time since I got to college. That's a lie--I feel a twinge of homesickness whenever I think of Elena and Noah, but really, it's not homesickness, it's just a longing to see how they are and to hug and kiss them.

Your post did not succeed in making me homesick. But it did succeed in making my stomach twist up and get nearly nauseous missing childhood and the young OES days--the random and cool stuff we'd do in Gala/IDS classes, I don' even know...just everything. Holy cow. Just reading and hearing your "voice" and seeing Sam's and Rob's names...sheesh.

ahhh...rafting....that trip down the river will stick with me forever....and rob's house....well...its rob's house...i don't know that you can go there and not have a good time....and the rose garden. I don't care that I live so close...its simply not the same without everyone there. I can't wait until you get home babe. Simply cannot wait.
