Title: Contrasts
Prompt: 12 - you
Pairing: None
Rating: G
Summary: People kept wondering what was going on.
Notes: I wrote this while Boyfriend were promoting for I'll be There and B.A.P had just debuted (I'm pretty sure they promoted at the same time. If not… I'm sorry) in January 2012. I think the whole idea was 1. To get a grip on B.A.P and Boyfriend, and 2. Because I couldn't imagine two groups more opposite, and the contrast made me smile.
Disclaimer: Not mine, not true

DongHyun thought he might kill his magnae. He'd been looking for Minwoo for about 30 minutes now, and either Minwoo had bribed everyone back stage or had teleported out, because no one had seen him. DongHyun rolled his eyes when his phone rang, and glanced at it to see the manager's name on the screen. About to answer it, he heard Minwoo's voice.
Finally.
He didn't realize what he heard until he nearly stumbled into a small crowd of platinum blonds. Only then did he actually hear what Minwoo was saying. Or, rather, rapping. From the applause from the rest of B.A.P, he'd managed that line fairly well. "I'm sorry," DongHyun said into the following silence. "Minwoo, it's time to go."
Minwoo blinked up at him before glancing at the young man next to him (Zelo, right?). "Already?"
"Yes."
"But…."
DongHyun smiled. "Exchange numbers or whatever. We're in a hurry, though."
Minwoo stared at him, then his eyes widened. "Oh!" The two magnaes exchanged numbers, and then Minwoo scrambled to his feet and bowed. "Thanks. See you later."
Zelo bowed as well. "Bye."
"How late are we?" Minwoo asked as they headed back for the dressing room.
"I've been looking for you for half an hour," DongHyun said mildly.
"Ah, Hyung, I'm sorry," Minwoo said.
DongHyun tousled his hair. "It's okay. You'll have to teach KwangMin."
Minwoo grinned at him. "I'll just invite him along the next time we get together."
"I suspect the rest of us will tag along, too," DongHyun said. "Might as well warn your new friend and plan for it."
Minwoo grinned, but sobered immediately when the manager stepped out of the dressing room, looking angry.
"Sorry," DongHyun said before Minwoo could speak. "Right when you called last time, I found him. I didn't answer in case he was moving."
The man's expression eased. "Ah," he said. "We've been waiting for you, Minwoo-yah. Shall we go?"
"Yes, sir," Minwoo said, bowing. "Sorry."
"Where was he?" HyunSung asked quietly later, once they'd gotten in the van and were underway.
"Learning that insane rap from Zelo," DongHyun said, amused.
HyunSung stared at him, and then laughed. "And that's not a frightening prospect."
"I should have snapped a picture. He really stood out among all that blond."
HyunSung laughed again.
Some time later - three weeks - things were significantly easier between the groups. DongHyun honestly didn't know which raised more eyebrows: HyunSung initiating a conversation with DaeHyun, or YongGuk pulling KwangMin aside for a conversation (KwangMin never said what they talked about, which made YoungMin mad - and YongGuk never grabbed the wrong twin. Maybe because he had a twin himself). Minwoo and Zelo were always deep in conversation, usually a rhythmic one, any time the two were found together. By the second music show they both performed on, DongHyun had asked for Yongguk's number. He found it much easier to text to see if the other leader knew where the magnae's were - and he got a few back himself. Thankfully, he could answer in the affirmative.
It was, possibly, the weirdest number he had on his phone. If not the weirdest, then probably the one no one would ever expect.
