"I think I might kill him," KangHo said, teeth clenched in fury as he knocked one of the missiles out of the air with a wave of his hand. He didn't have the fine tuning he should - would work on, after this - to send them into the guy JongKook help perfectly (and unnaturally) still. In his head, he could still (every time he did something like this, he did) hear his mother screaming "you can't do that, it goes against the laws of physics!" He didn't know for sure if his telekinesis actually did go against the rules of normal science, but being here showed him that those rules were meant to be broken, and were, consistently.
HyungJoon had vanished around the corner after another of the attackers, and with JongKook tied up keeping the other guy still, it left KangHo to take up the slack. He wasn't going to last much longer, either.
Another thing flew at him. He waved it away and it didn't go, still flying right at him. He crouched down and hoped it would go over his head. He heard a strange whoosh, then the thing shattered, so close to him that he felt the pieces of it fall in his hair. He heard another strange whoosh, then someone touched his shoulder. "You okay?"
He looked up at Taewoon in surprise. "I'm tired," he said, and sagged back onto the porch. "I've never tried this before, and it's tiring."
TaeWoon nodded and smashed another of the things out of the air, then sighed. "I hope it's okay I ruin the bushes," he said out loud, then sent another - larger - concussion beam through the bushes. Someone screamed, and TaeWoon laughed lightly. "Teach him to hide," he muttered. "Are you all that's supposed to be here?" One more beam knocked out the man standing frozen in JongKook's gaze, and JongKook blinked.
"No," KangHo said. "HyungJoon went running off that way." He gestured toward the bushes Taewoon had just hit.
"I hope that wasn't him," Taewoon said, and then the culprit reappeared, looking suitably chastened. "Oh, good, it wasn't."
That strange whoosh happened, covering KangHo's "too bad," and HyeWon nodded at them.
"Again?" Taewoon asked as she took his hand.
"They need you in the front," she said, and with that same whoosh, they vanished.
Seconds later, KwangHaeng stepped out of his portal and hauled KangHo to his feet. "Can you guys keep this place safe?" he asked.
"Yes," KangHo heard JongKook and HyungJoon chorus, then Kwanghaeng took him through the portal to the infirmary. Gyuri-noona smiled and gestured, and seconds later, KangHo passed out on a pallet in the corner.
