Summary: For everyone else, the change in leadership didn't mean much. To JunHo, it meant his brother had vanished.
The notice of the company-wide meeting made no sense to Kim JunHo. Ever since he'd worked here - almost two years - such meetings had been announced at least a week ahead.
He wondered if it had to do with the change of guards; no one else seemed to notice, but it disturbed him a lot that none of the security people around the company were in the least familiar.
But, as the email said no one could miss it, he went.
JunHo got there early enough to get a seat near the front, and immediately wanted to leave again. He'd never seen the man on the stage, any of them, and he knew the people who ran the company. Or, more specifically, the young men who always accompanied the man. He didn't see them anywhere.
Finally, though, the auditorium fell silent, and a man stepped forward.
"My name is Sakurai Sho. I am now running this company," he said, and JunHo stared at him, stunned and completely thrown. "This is Ninomiya Kazunari. If you have questions on security, the new head is Aiba Misaki."
He went on, talking about the company, but JunHo couldn't concentrate.
What happened to Junsu?
He couldn't exactly ask, either, as his twin had insisted that they keep their relationship a secret. So he waited, calm as he could manage, and minutes after he returned to his desk - only now did his co-workers comment on the change in security - he left for a break.
He didn't get very far, only one floor up, but it was enough to see that Junsu was not at his usual station. He went back to his desk, and decided this was an emergency. He found the link to Junsu's pager and sent a text.
Are you okay? What happened?
He waited a long time for an answer.
