Title: Passing the Baton

Summary: A change of staff for Shiwon - and new responsibilities for LeeTeuk.
Writer's note: Based in a massive undertaking I started in April for Script Frenzy and attempted to novelize in summerwrite. It didn't happen. However, as I have this world set up, I'm going to play in it. The master list of fics (including the order) is found here.
LeeTeuk felt way too young for this. The man he'd relied on for… a long time, to know what to do, how to act, had actually just retired, leaving him senior bodyguard. And once Kwon-puin joined the family, that would mean two more.
But first it meant breaking in a new kid, someone fresh out of Yesung-sshi's training, and he felt like he'd just left, even if it'd been over a year. One good thing about it; he'd know at least a little bit about JiKyun's replacement. He knew most of those younger than himself.
"You'll need these."
LeeTeuk looked up, startled at the voice, and then straightened, automatically taking the keys offered him. "I'll need…."
Choi-sshi smiled. "Yes. You will always carry an extra set of my keys; where you hide them is up to you, but keep them on you. I will only use those in case of an emergency."
LeeTeuk must have looked as concerned as he felt, because Choi-sshi touched his shoulder. "Talk to Yesung. He'll have ideas, and you'll get used to it."
He remembered then that he wasn't alone, that between Choi-sshi and Yesung, he could do what he had to. And it would only be better when he knew who his new partner was.
