Stuck

Poor skyangel2009, who heard about this already, and now will read about it....

I'm stuck.

I'm making a list again. Possibly more than one.

  • Project - going nowhere. Maybe I should try writing this scene from Ryou's pov, but I think it needs to be from Sanada's. He's just got to do something his precious Yukimura is not going to like.
  • Challenge fic - Well, ( Read more... )

to-do list, fandom: star wars, writing, fandom: sg-1, fandom: prince of tennis, crossover, fanfiction

You know, my Fiction professor told me something you might need to hear (and aren't going to like one bit). Outlining does no short story writer any good. You have to let the characters work through each situation as it comes and see where they end up. You can't force them to do what you want them to do.

Why wouldn't I like that?

It's a good thing to know.

I'd like to know his definition of a short story, then - most of these I'm outlining shouldn't be short stories....

And... am I a short story writer? considering I just checked out a couple of books on writing short stories.... And how to do it. ^_^

(Icon because I know you like him.)

Becuase you like outlining everything.

I think it's good for any writer who's not writing 100+ page chapter stories.

I don't know how to classify you.

(I enjoy looking)

I like outlining everything because it works. And not everything. Just the longer stories that really need it.

I should probably even try a basic - broad idea type - outline on Project.
