I wrote this article for the nano_year comm, which has sort of died (I was the last to post there, so I think I killed it). Anyway, since the article was never posted, I thought I'd post it here for your perusal.

I really like this. It gives a nice summary of various methods and links to more information. I've heard of the snowflake method before, but I never looked to closely at it, thinking it was to much work for me ^__^ But I like the other two ideas and it also leaves room to working only a little ahead and yet keeping the end goal in sight.
