This felt very 'them', and is set in one of my personal favourite time periods for fic. You've conveyed the pull between them, and the intensity that they just can't get away from. My favourite part was Dee's. Poor Dee. I have a lot of sympathy for her, getting (even knowingly) caught up in a love story that wasn't her own.

oh gods, this is gorgeous. I miss these pilots soooooo much. Love how you take it beyond the smut and illuminate the little angsty shipboard drama that no one, not even the main players, can talk about with any sense.

Gods knows, I love smut as much as the next person but what captured me most here was the cyclical effect of their emotions and actions. It's beautiful the way you've portrayed how damaging and yet important they are too each other and how bound they are the the others state of mind.
