I was never too big on shipping Harry Potter... probably because I've been reading it since before I knew what shipping was. xD I do truly like this though. So now it seems you have broken the seal of my HP ships~ Congrats. ♥ haha

Haha, same here-I was in love with Ron&Hermione before I knew there was any such thing as fandom, or shipping, or fic of any sort. But Harry/Luna seemed intriguing, and then there was a prompt for it at the 'fest, so I went for it! And oh man, tread carefully in the deep, dark waters of Harry Potter ships, HERE THERE BE DRAGONS, etc., etc.

Thank you so much! I'd never written Harry/Luna before, but I enjoyed putting my toes in the water. I think they're quite good for each other, and I definitely would've liked them together in the end, so it was a fun exercise in wish fulfillment, haha.

Soooo I read your Merlin fic (the start of your Merlin fic, here's me hoping?) over at the Happy Endings fest and then decided to come check your journal out like a creeper and then I found out you had written Harry/Luna and now I think I love you.

Not just any Harry/Luna, either -- the Harry/Luna of my heart -- I was so rooting (rooting? How weird that word looks) for them in book five. This fic takes their story in exactly the direction I wanted it to go. Also, this entire section:

"Oh, Harry," is all she says, fond and exasperated, and then, "I suppose I could have a look at it."

"Don't say it like that," he says, halfway to defensive, and she laughs, shaking her head as she turns the mirror over in her hands.

"Like what?" She asks.

"Like that," he mutters, but without any real conviction in it.

is perfection.

So, yeah, I'm going to ahead and friend you, I hope that's all right? :)
