Argh. I want to write more.

But I'm not getting anywhere.  I've written and deleted the same sentence a half dozen times now.  Apparently five cups of coffee and 12 oz. of Red Bull are no match for exhaustion.  Good to know.

I wrote a lot today, but didn't finish what I wanted to finish.  I'm 2,303 words further along.  But I have a lot more to do tomorrow.

The word-counter! It reads 92% ! That is jaw-droppingly impressive! Once it's done though you may have to consider how you're going to come down from the RedBull and caffeine. (I won't be the one to advise you btw :)) You're getting there, honey. Inspirational, that's what you are *smish*

Are you home yet?! I've been thinking of you.

Any chance you'd want to look at this monster again some time in May? I want to polish the hell out of it before I let betas have a peek, but I'd love your feedback if you have the time.

I'm in awe of your word counter. You are amazing!

The thing about the damned word counter is I'm going to have to adjust it again. I think I'm going to need to bump it to 75,000 (at least). I have six more scenes to go. They're not going to get written in 5,000 words.

But do you know that you'll have written TWICE as much as I did? Do you know how huge that is? I can't even imagine managing all that story!

Yeah, but I never set out to write this much. Trust me! I'd hoped the story would come in around 45,000. This 70,000+ is madness.

Woo and hell, even a Hoo! *tosses pom poms in the air*

You're just so far in you can't see the wood for the trees but this word count is bloody amazing!

I've managed 132 words in the last two days. Erm... woot?

Which of your many WIPs are you working on?

I know the word count is nuts. But what has me more concerned is I'm going to need to bump up that meter. Looking at my outline, I've got six more scenes to finish. Given how I'm writing, that's going to wind up taking more than 5,200 words.

I told Debbie and S--I've already booked a 90 minute massage for next Sunday (the draft is due by end of day on Saturday). I really am exhausted at this point.

The one started for a mate's birthday a year ago. All it needs is one more scene. It's only about 11,000 words long though so a mere blip on you meter. *g*

If you get too exhausted petal remember this *is* a draft, you could "sketch in" a few of those scenes between where you are now and the end and fill them in when you polish and edit the thing to be ready for final delivery. Just saying, don't make yourself ill. *hugs you*

I know that's good advice. Debbie suggested the same thing more than a week ago. But I am ridiculously linear when it comes to writing. I don't know that I've ever written a scene out of order (in 15 years of this fanfic writing nonsense) because I usually get my spark from what happened before.

I'm going to see what I can accomplish today and if I don't make it, I may have to go that route out of sheer self-preservation. But I'd prefer not to.

I am an idiot.
