But I'm not getting anywhere. I've written and deleted the same sentence a half dozen times now. Apparently five cups of coffee and 12 oz. of Red Bull are no match for exhaustion. Good to know.
I wrote a lot today, but didn't finish what I wanted to finish. I'm 2,303 words further along. But I have a lot more to do tomorrow.

Any chance you'd want to look at this monster again some time in May? I want to polish the hell out of it before I let betas have a peek, but I'd love your feedback if you have the time.

Woo and hell, even a Hoo! *tosses pom poms in the air*
You're just so far in you can't see the wood for the trees but this word count is bloody amazing!
I've managed 132 words in the last two days. Erm... woot?

I know the word count is nuts. But what has me more concerned is I'm going to need to bump up that meter. Looking at my outline, I've got six more scenes to finish. Given how I'm writing, that's going to wind up taking more than 5,200 words.
I told Debbie and S--I've already booked a 90 minute massage for next Sunday (the draft is due by end of day on Saturday). I really am exhausted at this point.

The one started for a mate's birthday a year ago. All it needs is one more scene. It's only about 11,000 words long though so a mere blip on you meter. *g*
If you get too exhausted petal remember this *is* a draft, you could "sketch in" a few of those scenes between where you are now and the end and fill them in when you polish and edit the thing to be ready for final delivery. Just saying, don't make yourself ill. *hugs you*

I'm going to see what I can accomplish today and if I don't make it, I may have to go that route out of sheer self-preservation. But I'd prefer not to.
I am an idiot.
