Sunday Drabbles

Jul 13, 2008 10:14

So, callistosh65 and I have been drabbling again.  As before, we decided to write in our three fandoms:  Pros, S&H, and TS.  This time, I came up with the opening lines.  I threw out three for each fandom, and we were to choose which one we wanted without telling the other what we had chosen.  We'd thought it might be interesting if we wound up doing the same ( Read more... )

s&h, fic, drabble, pros, sentinel

Cool!! You just hit three of my favorite fandoms! :D

These are great drabbles, loved them all! But the Pros one is my favorite. That last line is perfect... it's just soooo Bodie!! :D

Thanks for sharing!

My favs too. :-) Glad you enjoyed them. Particularly the Pros one, as that's the drabble I was the least sure about. Thank you.

Scrumptious, all of 'em. I love them all, though I have to say the Sentinel one is my favourite. It's that line you gave Blair: "According to who? The International Brotherhood of Repressed Manly-Men?" It makes me laugh aloud and hear him perfectly. And the last line too. Big bang, indeed..
Thank you for those great opening lines and the idea. Our little drabble par-tays are good for the soul.

Our little drabble par-tays are good for the soul.

They are indeed! As is your icon. All my windows are open, and I'm braying with laughter. I'm sure all the woodland creatures are wondering, "What the f***?!"

Thanks for playing with me, hon!

They are indeed! As is your icon. Isn't it brill? Seemed very appropriate in view of Blair's ideas about Jim in his 501s.*g* The very clever janedavitt made it.

Oh, very nice! As I told callistosh65, I love it when you two play!

I also find it fascinating that both of you wrote about Doyle finding a lost and injured Bodie. *g* This is very nice--intense and connected, as it should be.

I laughed at the TS one, especially that "Jesus, Sandburg." "What? You do." It's just so perfectly them.

And for the S/H...good lord, woman, what happens next? I loved the "Wouldn't you say I'm stubborn?" Yes, he would. *g* But, but...you've left Starsky all alone, holding on, but just barely! Cruel....

Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed them. As my writing is, for the most part, going bloody nowhere, it's fun to work on these shorter pieces. I'm finding, much to my surprise, that I enjoy the challenge of them. They really make you focus and pare down.

I hope you're doing well, hon. I know you've been facing some family challenges lately, so hang in there. Please know I'm thinking of you. :-)

A triple whammy for the end of the weekend, how splendiferous *g*
Loved em all, honked with laughter at Jim and Blair's interraction, shivered at Hutch's hands unfurling like that and hugged myself that Doyle and Bodie have "found" each other. Thanks for all these. You and Sheila rock!

Hey hon! Any chance of reading something new from you one of these minutes? I miss your fic. I hope you're doing well.

Glad you enjoyed these. Sheila is an awesome drabble partner. It's a fun weekend exercise.

Can I ask for fic like this every Sunday? It's all delicious and clever and the SH tied my heart in a small knot.

Thank you! I think I'm happiest with the one for S&H. The scene is pretty clear in my head.
