I've been reading on LJ quite a bit and commenting some.  But I haven't been posting much.

Talking about indie writing )

You're so talented, I swear. LOVE the website. Wow. So cool and artsy and fun.

I'm a little giggly over your editing efforts. I think I remember that "in the chair." ;)

The editing is killing me. I'm going back over something I wrote two years and thinking--why the hell did I write that?!

I'm so glad you like the website! I'm learning as I go here. That piece of the puzzle took some time. :-)

Thank you so, so much! It's been kind of manic. But hopefully all will be well.

Congratulations and good luck with the rest of the process! I loved Redemption and will be watching with interest to see how this goes for you. (Yeah, yeah, I am someone else considering taking the origfic plunge. Of course, I'd need to write a new story first.)

(Also I am glad to see you have a copy of Scrivener. It is the best!)

I'm still learning Scrivener. I haven't had occasion to use it yet, as Redemption was an existing file. But it looks like a great tool to use moving forward.

Good luck on your own writing project! My hope is the release Redemption then in either July or August release a reworked Out of the Ashes (that's a fairly conceived idea) and then for December (in time for new e-readers) have my new novel ready to go.

Now mind you...I haven't actually begun work on my new novel. ;-) But hopefully I've allowed myself enough time.

Hey- three names is good. One of my friends that is doing what you are taking on now, chose Elizabeth Noble and there is another author with that name only she does a different kind of romance novel- so three names is probably a good plan. LOL

Every thing looks good! Excited for you. :)

The naming thing is tricky. You don't want it to be so unusual people can't spell it or remember it. Yet at the same time, with all the marketing things you need to do, the more common names are already in use (like your friend discovered). Olivia Duncan Craig sounds a little...hoity-toity. But it has a certain rhythm to it and no one else had claimed it. So I figured--what the hell! I'm now Livvie Craig. :-)
