Oh I didn't know you wrote P&P fic! I loved this, especially Elizabeth overcoming her nerves by thinking of her mother - nice touch *g*

The first thing that "nervous" brought in my mind was Mrs. Bennett's nerves, so I figured that I'd have to work that in, one way or another.

One of the first fics I posted online used P&P in the ST:Voyager universe. It's my all-time favourite book!

Oh, very nice! That's right, Lizzie wasn't much of a horsewoman, though Jane certainly rode. I'd nearly forgotten. But of course she would learn for Darcy's sake!

Yes, Lizzie was a champion walker. I figure that even Jane isn't that much of a horsewoman seeing as the horses available for the girls to ride are always needed somewhere on the estate if Mrs. Bennett says so. So the story idea was born.
