Flist? You are all in trouble. Why was I not told that Kevin McKidd was going to be starring in a new NBC series this fall?

Because I don't even know who he is? Except that evidently he was an actor on "Rome," which I have never watched.

Okay, you're exempted. But "Rome" is not pop culture! It was the best show on TV the past two years featuring rather good history, an amazing cast and lots of slashy possibilities.

If you do get the free time, I highly recommend watching the first season of "Rome" which is out on DVD. (The second season comes out this August.)

OMG. I just caught the end of a fairly horrific movie called "Dad Savage" on the Sundance Channel (Patrick Stewart in the title role as a complete bastard), and this one guy wanders into a scene in a dark woods...by voice I was ready to swear it was Christiopher Eccleston; then I reconsidered when he came into focus...Varenus!

Oh! Now I'll have to keep an eye out for that. I love bad movies with people I know from other shows. (There are so many of them!)

NBC eh? That's the one with 'The Office' and 'ER' - basically the only network channel I watch?

If so, then it might be good. I'm definitely going to have to watch a couple of episodes just to make sure, you know, that he still is hot and all.
