You don't have to pick any of my icons, I just wanted to comment and say that I LOVE your Tudor icon. :-) Speaking of which, are you watching The Tudors miniseries on Showtime? It is fabulous and I highly recommend it!!

Isn't the icon fabulous? calixa is just amazing.

I've tried to watch the miniseries but it gets me all worked up over the ahistorical costumes and some of the choices they've made to rework the historical characters (conflating Henry's two sisters, Margaret and Mary, and hitching the one character to the king of Portugal? How are they going to work in his kinship to Mary, Queen of Scots, now?). I know it's very pretty and sexy, but it almost gave me hives! Anyway, I keep telling myself I'm too busy to watch shows right now.

I'll probably get back into more of a tv-watching groove next week, once marking's done -- then we'll see how things go.

Yeah... the marrying the King of Portugal thing threw me, too. I can see where all the changes would bother someone who knows the history inside and out (I'm not that person though... I know just enough to give someone a pretty decent tour of the Tower of London, but that's about it). :-) But it is, as you say, very pretty and sexy! I really like seeing the sites on screen. I squee repeatedly when they show Whitehall and Hampton Court. What can I say? I'm easily entertained. :-)
