I clicked on 'get your own VisualDNA' and decided it was too much work for me to make one properly right now. But I LOVE the pictures they have to choose from. I may make one of my own later ~

Yeah, I'm putting it off, too. Just like I'm really trying to decide if I should go to Senior Departmental Colleague's event today. It's in an hour and a half, and I'm really in a paper-researching groove, but if I don't go, it will mean no one else from the department showed up for a do with the local donors to the History Department ... Except, of course, that I am the person with the least interest in this bloody thing. It's all about local history.

Oh, yeah. Local history. Woohoo! As I tell my colleagues, it isn't history until we have to go back and least four hundred years. I suspect that you'd push that back a few centuries further!

That said, it's probably good to go but perhaps you can show up either a little bit late or leave early, citing the desire to get the marking done for Monday a.m.?

Marking! *sigh* I'm taking breaks in between good papers (thus, the breaks are less frequent than if I took a rest after each disappointing paper).

Well, thank you very much :-) And, in fact, your wishes have power, since the rain never materialized. The clouds went away, it was sunny and warm, and I did get out for a trail ride after all :-D

I can't get the visual DNA thing to work. lj keeps telling me my code isn't a valid video url or some such thing. And go team you with all the getting ready for the move.

It did that same thing for me in preview mode, but it worked just fine when it went live (I posted it privately first to check).

As for the move, I got a bit done but I'm trying not to panic and be overwhelmed. I know I have a lot of time and my marking should be the first priority right now, but still. . . .
