Wrote this in about 24 hours over Friday and Saturday (I was also working on a fluffier fic; guess I needed to get the dark stuff out so that fic would stay fluffy ;-)).

I now need to go read your fluffier stories. I am sad to say that I really cannot like this Holmes and this Watson. :( But nevertheless, your depiction echoes with all the domestic violence I have heard from the girls and boys I know in my life. Very well done.

Yes, he really ought to. But he knows Holmes would find him... and what happens after that is anyone's guess, but it's pretty much guaranteed to be bad.

This Holmes definitely isn't likable. Watson I just feel sorry for, since he's rather stuck.

Holy crap. This story is amazing. It's just so gripping when you're reading it. The tension. Rff. The entire story I keep shaking my head and kept wondering how you were going to end this.

Speaking of which, I liked the ending. Though, I am afraid what will happen when Watson's body finally decides that it can't bear anymore children. Seriously, Holmes and Watson can't go back to normal after something like this fic.

Also, I'm glad for Watson's children going off to live with people who will take care of them( But I'm so sad that Holmes couldn't love them. You don't even know. D: ).

Thank you so much for this comment! I'm glad you liked the ending. :) I'm not sure I want to think about how that relationship would go after this point (which is one reason why I ended it where I did!), but you're right, "normal" is no longer an option.

Yeah, Holmes leaves a lot to be desired character-wise in this.
