[yuletide] Dear Author!
Hello Author, I love you for being here, thank you!
If you would like a more comprehensive look on my tastes, last year I went overboard with info. This part specially gives a wide explanation of tropes/kinks/genres that I like and also, things I don't like.
For a very narrow way to put it, I dislike het (male|female relationships) in probably every fandom on this list, except Best Song Ever, that I will talk about it bellow. I prefer no graphic non-con, if the plot asks for non-con, I'm fine with, I just don't want to see plot what plot or overly graphic descriptions. I prefer slash to gen, and nc-17 to pg-13, but you have cart blanch to do as you please and is more comfortable with. Please no character death of the characters I requested! I don't want to be sad, angst is fine and death of others too.
Now, for the fandoms:
Best Song Ever - One Direction (Music Video)
I love One Direction and the whole set-up of this video is hilarious. There aren't many fics that deal with the characters for themselves and that don't consider 1D RPF (like many fics I read with Louis|Harry doing nerd!Marcel roleplay). I wouldn't be opposed to adding Niall, Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn, but since this is yuletide my focus really is in the info we have just from the video.
Characters:
Veronica - Veronica as a girl/woman with Marcel or even Jonny/Harvey, or as trans character with Leeroy or Marcel. If she is a woman I would like to see her outside or in the office persona and how she interacts with others, maybe she likes putting horrible clothes and watch bad movies or maybe she is a online gamer, maybe she like sports and lets all the put together secretary look at her closet for the weekends. Sex in the office, building relationship are very cool too. If he/she is a man with gender dysphoria, or a crossdressing kink or a trans (male to female), I would love to see how much it can affect his/her job and her relationship; any other gender related issue can be addressed.
Leeroy - I like him for his potential with Marcel or Veronica, I can even see him as the stereotype gay guy, that is actually hetero. Anything that you would like to do will be amazing I'm sure.
Marcel - Some things I would like to see Marcel in are the derivations to the nerd!persona he has in the job, that can include a certain social life outside of the office, him being the dominant partner, and double identity with him being completely different from the office (can be mental condition or just something he likes to do). Gay with Leeroy or Straight with Veronica/or gay with Veronica.
The Teahouse(webcomic)
Smut would be great, is kind of sad how much I would like to see more porn on the comic and how much it lacks because they are bonus for the printed version. Gen and Pg-13 is totally fine, I would love to see back stories for any of them or a slow build relationship.
Characters:
Alistair Reed - with Rory or without, with Rhys and a friends and benefits arrangement, with Zephyr and a possible involvement there. I like to know why he is a callous bastard, why he has a interested in Rory, why he is friends with Rhys, what does he do with his free time. Porn options: Rory|Reed first time, consoling Rhys after his father's dead sex, commanding Zephyr or perhaps the other way around?
Zephyr Langston- that page with Rhys|Zephyr broke my brain and I would like to see any ramifications of it, be it they growing up together and Zephyr becoming his friend and lover to any porn around the castle and possible feelings Zephyr might have for Rhys. I also can see him with Reed, as a past lover or maybe a companionship since they both take care of Rhys.
Linneus and Gilder - I pretty much requested them as a pair, because well, I would love to see more on them, from the present story line or maybe a future one where Gilder buys Linneus. Just anything more than the one-two conversations we see of them in the comic. Porn is great too, my life is incomplete without some graphic love.
The Catch Trap - Marion Zimmer Bradley
Characters: Tommy Zane, Mario Santelli, Bart Reeder
I love that Tommy and Mario’s have a stable and realistic romantic story, I would love to see what happens next in their lives after the end of the book. I can see any missed scene between them when Tommy was a kid, or maybe they never went back to the family house and are now living a totally different life and all the angst that entails being out of the circus. Porn, did I say I would love to see porn here too, that doesn't happen in the book, except the intro and end of it, so I would love the middle.
Besides them, if you would like to write about Tommy and Bart and their time together in the car races or the time they spent/will spend in Bart house (smut or not).
If you write Tommy/Bart, please don’t make it cheating, you can make any reason why they are together, or even use the canon one (Bart and Tommy don’t think Mario would mind).
I can also see poly or at least conversations of a threesome, it would be great to see Matt reacting to it, since he is very shy|prude about sex trough most of the book, only when he is angry he seems to let go.
Marvel Avengers Movies RPF
Characters: Mark Ruffalo (Marvel Avengers Movies RPF) Robert Downey Jr. (Marvel Avengers Movies RPF) Chris Evans (Marvel Avengers Movies RPF) Tom Hiddleston (Marvel Avengers Movies RPF)
I decided to include this at the last minute, I was torn between choosing another Marion Zimmer Bradley book (Firebrand or the Darkover series) and end up with this one. I don't have many thoughts, I read some RPF of Tom, mostly with Chris Hemsworth and almost Thorki, instead of anything else. I find RDJ and Tom to be the most unusual people of the ones I choose and they certainly have a lot on Tumblr to make me laugh. I would be happy with friendship between them or romance or even a epic bromance. How was in the set, how it will be with Avengers Ultron. Mark and RDJ and the bonus scene in Iron Man 3, Tom and Chris (Hemsworth) and all the Thor things involved. I think Chris Evans is totally dorky and almost anything to do with Steve and I think it would be great to explore that. I like how Mark has a funny streak and doesn't care much for what people seem to think and how he did a lot of alternative movies, instead of super blockbusters.
Slash in this would be gold, any combo, including more than 2. Friendship and gen is cool too.
