he especially likes the ones with long French names that he makes Sherlock pronounce once he gets them home
*thinks of Sherlock saying "Abbaye de la Joie Notre-Dame" or "Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage" with this voice*
*drools a bit, and not over the cheese*
*remembers there's a cheese called "Amour de Nuits" ("Love of Nights")*
Yeah, baby. Anarion, I think you've just invented cheese!porn. Congratulations.

Mostly because he saw that having friends around made John happy.
Aww. He only likes it because it makes John happy.

Lovely and funny! And now I'm in the mood for a bit of Brie. For want of a bit of Sherlock. Have a nice weekend, with or without cheese!

I think it's "he actually valued them" [the meetings]. :-)

Um, thank you. I think. *lol*

I don't eat cheese, but I do like buying it.

Lactose intolerant! Oh my, if Sherlock knew that nowadays it is more or less "in" to have that condition he would bristle at being "normal" :)
But hey, I like cheese! The boys could invite me one day *g*

‘John. Cheese. Go and buy.’
Oh what a perfect ending!!! I can just *hear* him saying it.

Ahem ... Sherlock would be dairy intolerant rather than lactose intolerant if he couldn't eat cheese. Turning milk into cheese (or yogurt) removes the lactose and makes it safe to eat. I understand as I am both lactose and dairy intolerant. To make it even more complicated I have to have buffalo cheese and yogurt rather than cow, sheep or goat. The good news is that Marylebone Farmers' Market (just down the road from Baker Street) sells just that. Yum! Smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches for lunch, and the first time in years!
