Sorry for the confusion. Maybe I should add an explanation.

This is the story were John left Sherlock. I have hinted at it. You will eventually learn why he left. And probably why he came back. But we all know that he did come back, because they are MARRIED now. :)

Inside was a small insect in amber.

And yet it was so much more than that.
It was a promise.

Yes, I remember your hints, but I choose to delete them. Now it's here and it is by far the most angsty and painful thing I've ever read from you. You brought me to tears with a few sentences. And that honeybee did a lot to mend my heart too, just so you know.

First I read when he seldom had been able to sleep when John had wanted him to and thought, "Ah, I remember, it's the story she told in I watch you while you sleep , in which John leaves partly because Sherlock is never in bed with him when he wakes up. I remember the happy ending. Right. I can deal with that." Then I read the last lines and went, "WHAT? JOHN NEVER SENT A HONEYBEE TO SHERLOCK IN I WATCH YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP SO IT'S NOT I WATCH YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP IT IS NOT THE SAME VERSE OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS FRESH ANGST???" Atlin's story, and now this. I hate you. (But just a bit. And in a nice way.)

I love the last lines, so heart-warming. I can't wait to read the rest of the story!
