Friday -

Woke up at 6am, which we did the whole weekend. Breakfast, then I got changed into my Gentle Giant Leia. I haven't worn it in over 2 years, I wasn't sure how long it would take us to get my hair buns on. Man, there needs to be more time at Dcon! I'm so coming on Wednesday and leaving on tuesday next year.

We arrived Wednesday/left Tuesday, and it still felt too short! I only saw you once, your Ariel was gorgeous!

Yeah ditto to Kristy's comment, I arrived Wed and left Tues and it still flew by. I had all these grand plans of going to the Coke museum or the Aquarium on Thursday or Monday - nope, didn't happen.

I let my insecurities get to me, and ended up refusing to eat for more than 24 hours that day for fear of looking fat in photos. On top of getting 3 or 4 hours sleep a night

Awww I totally hear you - I was going back and forth a lot on that too, but I had to keep reminding myself that D*C is super exhausting, and there's a reason my body suddenly gets ravenously hungry - I'm sure we're burning more calories while there. I figure I just need to keep it healthy and not eat stuff that will make me bloaty (at least not until the costume-wearing part is over ;). You looked totally fabulous every time I saw you (but I know what you mean, I have those insecurities too).

Good to hear I'm not the only one. I just kept thinking about how tiny Thandie Newton is and how I was going to be wearing her dress in public - that thing is see through up close, I was so nervous wearing it the first time!

You looked amazing :D I'm still not confident enough to show my stomach in public (once in Slave Leia was enough), I'm so jealous of your figure!

Awww, thank you! And wow, thanks for saying that, I felt the camera was none too flattering on my hips and thighs in those white shorts ;) So thank you :)

First of all, you look absolutely STUNNING. gorgeous. rocked all your costumes! xD

I especially adore you leia outfit, and that photo/story about you and the little supergirl... I would have DIED- adorable! She probably thought you actually WERE princess leia! too cute

I love HerUniverse! And I totally want that purple burnout shirt! Do you like it btw? I think I'm gonna order one...

Also, nice to see the LotS had a good turnout. Gotta keep the fandom strong! Oh how I miss that show... <3

When I was standing in line for the photo with Carrie, a little girl came up to the doorway and starting smiling and waving at me - I waved back, then she said "Hi Carrie Fisher" and walked away. I suddenly felt kinda bad, I didn't mean to pretend to be her! But it was kinda cute.

I love the Her Universe tshirts, the fabric is really soft, really good quality. The purple burount one is great, so glad I bought it.
