May 6th. It's a cool, gray day in the Living World. A day like any other - except for those who have been worried about Inoue Orihime.

Nnoitra sat on the huge cement pipe, scowling down at the ground. He lifted his finger from it, looking off to the west.

Orihime looked from that great big zanpakutou back to the Espada. They said the size was supposed to reflect strength of reiatsu, but maybe, just maybe, it symbolized something else. That was a pretty big zanpakutou. It might be biggest she had ever seen. And those threats? Just proved he was aggressive. That meant...well, it meant a lot of things, didn't it?

Orihime stepped closer to the blade, then leaned in to run her tongue along the blunt side of it. Then she giggled.

"Well, that's one way to put it."

Walking down the sidewalk, Keigo wondered why he was going to the convenience store when he had a perfectly good video game to beat. Some day, he was going to stand up to Mizuho! Show her who was the man in the family!

Thoughts of her revenge filled her mind, and he whimpered. Oh yeah, that was why. At least the store was close, and it was early enough that there shouldn't be anything too weird out to get him.

No, nothing too weird. Just Inoue, making his way home. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Keigo, waved, then hurried to cross the street.

Whoops! He almost got hit by a car! He waved at the driver anyway before safely making it onto the opposite sidewalk. Mission complete!

"Hi, Asano-kun!" He said, cheerfully. "How are you?"

Who was this guy? He looked almost familiar, but Keigo couldn't quite place the face. But he knew him. Was he a classmate? No, he must be younger if he was calling him Asano-kun. Did he live in his apartment building? Think, Keigo, think!

Orihime was blissfully oblivious to the fact that Keigo didn't seem to know who he was. He frowned, tuching the tip of his index finger to his bottom lip as he thought about this.

"Oh!" He beamed. "Can I join you? Maybe it won't be so bad if you have some company!"
