Absolute Write April Blog Chain: Dead Bunnies!

Here we are, once again I’ve decided to sign up for the Absolute Write blog chain. This month’s topic is “Dead bunnies”.
At first I thought I’d write a small ficlet set in the world of Elven Lacryment about Issues complaining about how all they’ve been eating is rabbit. Rabbit skewers, rabbit stew, rabbit steaks…
But then I thought I’d do something

My favorite dead bunny of all time has to be The General Himself.

I was thinking of putting in the Black Rabbit of Inle but honestly? I barely remember the book, so my logic was "If I have to wiki this, clearly it wasn't a favourite."

As a child, I actually feared Woundwort more than I feared the Black Rabbit himself.

Then again, I saw the animated movie long before I even knew there was a book, never mind tried reading it. Reading the book, though, actually helped cure my fear of finding large, vicious, one-eyed rabbits hiding in tall grass or in the woods after dark.

I'm actually not kidding here, that thing terrified me.

The slow pan-over to the impaled rabbit at the end of DOOM still creeps me out to this day. FUN BONUS FACTOID: The Doom II rulebook reveals that it was in fact Sarge's own pet rabbit and he is out for revenge!
