There are a lot of little things that I could post about right now. It's been a funny old day. I don't think we did too badly but would need to see the underlying stats to be sure. The lack of a leader is a huge disadvantage as it sucks up standard actions for second winds which don't keep up with the damage inflicted and reduce our own damage output. If Kirk had been kept up by a leader, then we would have had help and would have overcome the others by coming in the side.

I will say that D&D4e seems suited to MapTools but its also quite tough at the same time. I think an Essentials only game might work best if kept at low levels as it reduces the amount of information each player has to communicate to the others.

I also think something like Castles and Crusades or Savage Worlds may be interesting to explore.
