He was bracketed for the game because they were expecting that, I read somewhere yesterday. Vettori (or any other single player) probably wouldn't have helped much. Losing 7 wickets for 52 runs in the middle is a pretty collaborative failure. Mind you, I was only reading the cricinfo feed: how was the field placement?
