Friends who have visited Italy said they went to a local restaurant in which it was a verbal listing, but it was very much a one dish place (whatever the chef decides to cook that day!) In the case of Osteria dei Sapori, there were two entrees, 2 pastas and about 6-8 other mains. While I can remember what meat/fish were on offer, the details tend to be lost by the time the listing was complete.
