It's easy to forget just how comforting even a warm toilet seat is on a cold morning.  We've gone from warm, humid days in Osaka and Kyoto, to rainy, dry spells in Kagoshima and chilly grey mornings in Beppu.  For which I am eternally grateful for said warm seat.  :P

It was great catching up with you guys too. Thanks for dinner and the souvenir! ^^ I'm glad you reached Beppu safely and are enjoying yourselves. It's unfortunate the weather has been so sucky this week; a typhoon is probably on its way. XD

h_jing_wen has a futon that he brings out in the colder months (to use as a cover). It's great...

I suppose those vacuum packs would be useful for storing futons if you're short of space? ^^' (And already have a vacuum.)

We thought of the egg, but didn't have one on hand. :P But if you've been keeping up with FB, you'll see that we failed miserably at our second go in the rotemboru. They'd just cleaned and refilled so it was b****y hot!
