I've been considering this for the last 6 months, so it'll hardly be a snap purchase. But now that my brother wants his 2.5" external HDD back, I have more motivation and reason to get an iPod ( Read more... )

Honestly speaking, the cons don't add up to much. Or I'm already mentally swayed. :P

Since u want to use it to listen to mp3 I would say the i-pod is the way to go. I carry around an mp3 player and a hard drive caddy but that's just because the last time I went home I bought an mp3 player and didn't buy a caddy.

If you get a car charger you can charge it in the car.

I was also thinking of getting one of those car adapter things. The prospect of having all that music at my fingertips! *LOL*

I checked them out too, but it's really the size of iPods that's one of the biggest drawcards.
